Goal Setting For Racers – Make This Your Best Year!

Podcast

The new year is almost here and it’s time to get your goals in place to make sure that you won’t be late to grid.

Why is goal setting so important for racers?  We have a lot to do and having goals will help us make decisions that get us to the desired outcome that we have for our racing efforts.

In this episode I walk you through how to set goals and detail out the items that need to be completed to achieve your goals.  It might seem like work, but having your goals outlined will help you save time and money.  Who knows, it might help you win races too!

I mention the Johnny Miller episode and here’s the link.

I review the SMART approach to goal setting…

The goal needs to be

S – Specific

M – Measurable

A – Achievable

R – Relevant

T – Time-Bound

I hope this episode helps you achieve your racing goals!
