Autocross to Time Trials to Wheel To Wheel – Toby Weber Shares His Racing Journey

Podcast

Toby Weber started competing in Autocross events in 2014 in a Lotus 7 and has grown his motorsports endeavors to include track days, time trials and wheel to wheel racing.  He also  works with Xtreme Xperience as an instructor.

Toby has had a stellar 2023 season including a first place in class at the 14 hour enduro at Nelson Ledges Road Course.  In 2024 he plans to continue competing in the OPTT time trials, continuing with endurance racing, and working with Xtreme Xperience.

Toby once thought that motorsports was only for people with money.  It's important for everyone to understand that motorsports is open to everyone, regardless of money and it's great that Toby got involved as he's an asset to our sport.

When it comes to advice, Toby highlights that seat time is important and people should just go out and try it to see if it's something they want to do.  A big take-a-way he had from this season is to only change one item on your car at a time.  Too many changes means that you can't pinpoint what worked and what didn't.
